About Hügelton Instruments
Hügelton Instruments is an independent electronic instrument company and design lab founded by Leo Kuroshita in Kobe, Japan. We design Eurorack modules, audio plugins, and experimental music tools inspired by vintage electronics and modern technology.
Product Description
TEM is a Eurorack module that pulls real-time weather and space environment data from Earth and converts it into musical control signals (CV/Gate).
Temperature, humidity, wind speed, sun angle, geomagnetic activity, and more — real-world change becomes voltage, driving generative sound that shifts with time and environment.
Features
- Wi-Fi connectivity: pulls real-time data from the OpenWeather and NASA1 APIs
- 2× CV output (0–5V) + 2× Gate output: weather and space data as signal
- Web UI: set region, parameter mapping, and update rate intuitively from a browser
- monome ii support2: link with other ii devices to share or trigger data
The Web UI gives you fine-grained control — choose your region, map parameters, and adjust settings intuitively from a browser.
Specifications
- Size: 6HP (30.0mm) x 3U (128.5mm) x 26mm Eurorack
- Power: +12V: 50mA / -12V: 0mA / +5V: 0mA
- Connectivity: Wi-Fi
- Outputs: 2x CV (Weather, 0-5V), 2x Gate (Conditions, 0-5V)
