VCV Rack Modules
The K-Series modules for VCV Rack bring the unique sound and functionality of Hügelton's hardware synthesizers to the virtual modular environment. Each module faithfully recreates the characteristics of its hardware counterpart while taking advantage of VCV Rack's flexible patching capabilities.
K102V - Dual Oscillator
Based on the K102E hardware module, K102V provides two independent oscillators with:
- Waveforms: Sine, Triangle, Sawtooth, Square, and unique morphing capabilities
- FM Synthesis: Cross-modulation between oscillators
- Sync Options: Hard and soft sync for complex harmonics
- CV Control: Full voltage control over frequency, FM amount, and waveform morphing
- Stereo Output: Independent left/right outputs for each oscillator
Perfect for bass lines, leads, and complex harmonic textures.
K104V - Quad Envelope Generator
The virtual version of the K104E envelope generator features:
- Four Independent Envelopes: ADSR with additional curve controls
- Looping Modes: One-shot, loop, and ping-pong modes
- CV Inputs: Control over all parameters via CV
- Gate/Trigger Inputs: Flexible triggering options
- Visual Feedback: Real-time envelope visualization
- Polyphonic Support: Handle multiple voices simultaneously
Ideal for complex modulation scenarios and polyphonic patches.
K108V - 8-Step Sequencer
Based on the K108E hardware sequencer, featuring:
- 8 Steps: Expandable pattern length
- Multiple Outputs: CV, Gate, and Accent outputs
- Pattern Memory: Store and recall multiple patterns
- Clock Division: Internal and external clock sync
- Probability: Per-step probability controls
- Direction Modes: Forward, reverse, ping-pong, and random
- CV Control: Voltage control over tempo and pattern selection
Perfect for creating evolving sequences and rhythmic patterns.

Getting Started
Each module includes detailed documentation and example patches to help you get started. The modules are designed to work seamlessly together and integrate well with other VCV Rack modules.
Example Patch Ideas
- Bass Synthesizer: K102V → K104V envelope → VCA
- Melodic Sequence: K108V → K102V → K104V → Effects
- Percussion: K108V triggers → K104V envelopes → Noise sources
System Requirements
- VCV Rack 2.0 or higher
- Windows, macOS, or Linux
- Compatible with all VCV Rack plugin standards
Open Source
All K-Series modules are open source and available on GitHub. Contributions, bug reports, and feature requests are welcome.
